A note from our Pastor regarding the Pastoral Care of Voice Of Praise Worship Center:

As my church family you are more important to me than you will ever know and I want to be there for you as your Pastor when you need me. The Pastoral Care we want to offer extends not only to church members or regular attenders but also to your friends and loved ones. Our care comes in several forms.

Visitation:
If you or one of your loved ones is in the hospital, or a residential facility or sick at home, I want to visit you and pray with you.  I will visit homes, hospitals, retirement homes, correctional facilities or anywhere you need me to go.

Weddings:
It’s an honor to be a part of such a special day in the lives of a man and woman who have decided to make a lifetime commitment to each other. If you would like for me to officiate your wedding please contact me as soon as you are engaged so that we can meet to discuss your wedding, set the date on my calendar and discuss what help we can provide with pre-marital counseling.

Funerals:
When someone in our life passes away, it’s a very tough and trying time and people handle those times in different ways. Some people may want a Pastor there with them right from the beginning and if so, I will be there. Some would rather be left alone for a time to work through their emotions privately or with few people around and I want to respect that, yet be available for them when they DO need me. If you lose someone in your life and you need me, please contact me and I will do whatever you need. We will provide prayer support, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, a hand to help and a church
body to love on you and walk with you through this season of grieving.

Pastoral Counseling:
Everyone hits rough patches in their lives and sometimes you just need someone to talk with you and pray with you and for you. Maybe you just need someone to listen and not judge you but just be there as you open your heart. Maybe you need some scriptural guidance or verses from God’s Word to help you through the day. If you do, as many of us do from time to time, I would like to be there to help you or assist you in finding someone who can. I am not a licensed counselor but I can provide Pastoral Counseling as we seek answers and truth from the Word of God and through prayer to the God who created us and loves us and hates to see us hurting.
